The Biography of Wes Ide
Wes Ide emerged from the shadows in 1997, as described in WSP, Vol.1: The Epic Tale.
For the few visitors out there that have not read the story, Wes Ide grew to prominence as a member of a local crew dubbed WestSide Playaz (WSP). Following the murder of their leader, Wes Ide assumed leadership of the organization and led a crusade to find out who was behind the murder and avenge his fallen leader.
Wes Ide was able to do this by masking his intentions through his small build, which his enemies mistakenly underestimated. He also established WSP Entertainment, incorporating creative projects done on the side (such as movies, books, and a tv show) into a commercial venue to build capital for his quest. The majority of business was handled via the company's website, which Wes Ide helped design alongside the company's primary financer.
Following the success of his aspirations, Wes Ide used the underground following he had built to continue his legitimate web design skills, securing a key role in a website for Bone Thugs~N~Harmony in 2000. Following that successful project, Wes Ide moved on to work on TheSixth.com, a fansite for the underground rap duo known as the Insane Clown Posse. Both ventures led to a cult following of fans of Wes Ide, whom he affectionately dubbed Wesaloes and Wesalettes. But along with admiration some comes animosity from others. Wes Ide dubbed these people Wesahoes.
In 2002, Wes Ide opened Wes Ide's World, his first personal website, showcasing his talent for writing controversial yet intriguing editorials and blogs that just didn't hold back, to the point he was given a paid vacation simply to escape the heat his expressions had caused.
Wes Ide left TheSixth.com a year later to continue on with his own personal website (shortly thereafter, TheSixth.com closed its doors - coincidence?). He also continued to post on Juggalo Central, a message board for fans of ICP. He was met there by an eclectic mix of both Wesaloes and Wesahoes. While Wes Ide maintained his presence there, his brash attitude and his no-holds-barred opinions led to a vocal outcry from the Wesahoes on the site. Despite having been made a Moderator on the board on the site due to his status, the Wesahoes soon had him dethroned. Wes Ide came to realize that his presence on the website was creating a feud of sorts between Wesaloes and Wesahoes. So, in a parody mocking the Wesahoes, Wes Ide announced his departure from Juggalo Central in a tone implying he was killing himself due to losing his Moderator status. Incredibly, the Wesahoes did not see the sarcasm and took it at face value. Wes Ide decided to run with that anyways, and take a sabbitcal from public life.
Returning after over a year away, Wes Ide's World is back.
Same Wes Ide.
Same attitude.
New look.
